When the girls asked me for a birthday party this year I immediately felt guilty. Pen turning 4 and Pia turning 7, the last time I threw one was three years ago! We’ve been getting away with Disney trips the last couple years and I guess they were all Disney’d out. Of course, what theme would two sisters want at this age… Bluey! But let’s make it aesthetic.

DECOR

First off, I asked our friend Victoria from Inspired Events by Victoria J for a balloon arch, but she gave me a whole display! I was shocked when a truck showed up and dropped off all this amazing graphic design work. She of course sent me her ideas and I of course thought they were cute, but my goodness did it turn out amazing.

TABLE

The day before the party, I had Matthew build me two mini tables to stretch 20′ long and just 10″ wide. He never denies my requests especially if it’s for his little princesses. It took him not even 45 minutes. It came out perfect and it was so cute to see them all eat together outside.

ACTIVITIES

We had to have a some fun activities and party favors even though I knew these kids weren’t going to get out of the pool for much!

FOOD

We had the coolest baker next door, and she’s made our cakes for the last couple years. She nails the look EVERY TIME! We also ordered cake pops and I’m so disappointed that everyone at them so quick, I never got a picture! But they were also very cute!

PARTY FAVORS

I hope this encourages some more “aesthetic” Bluey Parties to come!
